Lillie-Bailey  September 2007 litter
We thought you'd enjoy seeing pictures of Scruffey. He's doing
well and getting bigger by the day. He sleeps in his crate and is
starting to go there by himself, but would rather sleep next to us
on the floor. He's definitely a cuddler and full of curiosity. He
loves to explore and got a crazy burst of puppy energy one
night and knocekd over our Christmas tree!! Luckily it was a
fake one and it didn't make too much of a mess. It seems no
matter how many walks we go on he still has energy to
spare..makes me jealous!!! We get worn out and he just keeps
going!!!! What we wouldn't do for that kind of energy!! I hope all
goes well. Perhaps we'll stop by to see the new puppies and
you can see Scruffey for yourself! Take Care and Happy
Holidays    ~Nick, Kristen and Scruffey

Here are some of our
latest pictures of our
puppy, whom we named
Tucker.  This was his
first taste of peanut
butter.  As you can tell,
he liked it!  He's growing
so quickly.  We love him
dearly!

Merry Christmas!

Carolyn,

Just a quick note to tell you how much fun we are having with little Daisy (actually, she's
getting to be 'Quite Big' Daisy.   She is just beautiful and such a wonderful dog.  She is so
very sweet and Loves her loving!  She is such a great addition to our family.  Our 10 year old
Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Trophy, has a new spring in her step.  Although Daisy tortures
her daily, by virtually handing onto Trophy's ears with her teeth, Trophy is extremely patient
and loving towards Daisy.  Daisy is absolutely full of mischief, but in a good way. Although, the
golphers who have to chase her down in order to retrieve their balls don't always think so.
Living on a golf course has been a bit of a challenge, but she is learning!  Those little white
balls that fall from the heavens are so much fun for a little dog!
Thanks so much.

Wilson is from Lilly/Bailey litter April 2008
Carolyn,  Went to the vet.  All is well.  Wilson was the star of the vets office as all the staff wanted to see the Doodle.  I'm sure he'll be treated well his whole life
with them.  The assistant trimmed his eye hair so his big brown eyes show up more prominently as you can see in the picture. I just read the puppy book on
Alpha dog behavior and he is definitely  testing me on that one.  Hope I can win.  He has the advantage as he has slept!
I know once we get thru the housebreaking, life will be much better.   He learned to climb stairs yesterday and this morning he went down 1 step.  He will have to
negotiate 12 steps to go outside on his own so  this is significant.  Stair training makes him tired (yeah!) so we  will practice a good bit in evening.  Will do
wonders for my figure  also. : )      Sally

Hello Carolyn,   We wanted to keep you updated on Dakota.  We bought a small pool for her a couple of weeks ago, she HATES the heat.  She LOVES
the pool (well, the water).  She prefers still water but she's warming up to moving water.  Last night she played with a chocolate lab 3 hours straight.
When the lab left with her family, Dakota crashed.  It was great to see.  Last night we weighed her and at 11 weeks she weighs 20 pounds.  It's amazing
to see how much she changes almost daily.  Thanks for all the love you pour into the dogs.  It really shows.  Beth and Dakota.

Lilly -Bailey Litter 2008
Hi Carolyn,     Rex is doing just great!  He is absolutely everything we hoped he would be - playful, mellow,
affectionate and smart!  He's already learned to sit on command, and he's getting pretty good at "come" and
"down", too.  He loves his squeaky toys and those cow hooves, and he's getting used to his crate.  We all love
him very much -  thanks for such a wonderful dog! I've attached a few pictures,
I was at the vet's the other day, when a woman came in with a lost dog she found.  The dog had no ID on her.
The vet scanned her, got the info from her chip, and was able to contact the owner, all very quickly.  So, I'm a
microchip believer.Thanks.  Hope you all are doing well...   Becky

Christmas 2008
Hi Carolyn
just a quick note.....Since we don't let him on the couch, he doesn't let us stay there either!  He's doing very well in his training class but
is quite the scamp at home.  From what you wrote about his father, Bailey, he comes by it  naturally.  He's almost 9 months old and 75
lbs. Vet said 90 lbs. is a conservative estimate of full grown weight for him. If you notice the  size of his paws in this photo, you will see
why the vet made the prediction.  Folks we meet on the street remark about his wonderful  teddy bear paws.
He is a delightful dog.  I've never know a dog who so much wants just to be around his humans. Thank you so much for taking such
care with the breeding process.  We are enjoying the benefits of your care.
Happy New Year!           Sally

Hi Carolyn,
Just wanted to give you an update on Fenway.  He made the trip from Columbia, SC to Huntersville, NC
very well – slept most of the way.  Bedtime has been a little rough but getting better each night.

Fenway saw the vet today.  She said he is a very happy and healthy puppy and it was obvious he came
from a very good breeder!  Thank you for providing us with a wonderful puppy.  We will stay in touch with
pictures.

Good Morning Carolyn,
I hope they holidays were wonderful for you and your family.
I have attached a picture of Huck and Finn on their first birthday.  We are so thankful to
have them in our lives.  We really don't know what we did without them.

All the best,

Hi Carolyn,
We've decided on Stella.  She met her new brothers... Sax was very excited and our cat doesn't get excited about anything, but he'll get used
to her.  She and Sax played together for quite a long time in the front yard, then she came in, walked right into her crate where her blanket
and toys are and went straight to sleep.  I think Sax is happy to have a playmate - he's a little rough with her (for poodle standards anyway)
but she doesn't show any signs of being afraid of him.  I think they're going to be great friends!
THANKS again so much for everything.  I will definitely keep in touch and send you some pictures.  The pictures you have on your website
are definitely part of what drew us to you in the first place, so we would love to help others see what beautiful, happy dogs you breed!  Look
for pictures soon!

Scott in Columbia SC
Her name will be Stella
Hi Carolyn!
Just wanted to let you know that Stella is up to date on all of her shots and growing like a weed!

Also, our vet was thoroughly impressed with the records you provided us and said it was
unusual to see such detailed information from a breeder -THANK YOU!
Because of your hard work, we saved money on some tests that he normally ran on new puppies,
but could see it wasn't necessary with Stella.  She is now 12 pounds FULL of energy!

I really can't believe how fast she's growing.  I hope the picture I'm attaching sends right... it was
taken at her first trip to the Riverwalk by the Gervais St. bridge last weekend.  While our
poodle Sax is rather snobby about water, Stella showed no signs of being afraid of it.  It was too
cold still to let her try to get in, but she ran right out on the rocks!

I check your website regularly, and see that you're very busy bringing joy to lots of other people
with your gorgeous puppies.

As I told you before, please let us know if you ever need a reference.I hope the other puppies
from Stella's litter are doing well.

Buddy From the Lilly-Bailey, Sept 14, 2007 Litter
Hi Carolyn,

We just had the nicest family, the Marion's, stop by to look at Buddy, our
goldendoodle from Bar C Kennels (Bailey/Lilly September 14, 2007 litter).  They
also met a neighborhood mini-goldendoodle from a different out of state kennel, just
so they could compare sizes, looks, temperments, etc.  Anyway, I went on and on
about how great Buddy was....and how great your Bar C Kennels is.  They might be
coming your way, and I think they have already talked with you on the phone.  In the
mean time, I thought you might enjoy seeing Buddy, now 2 years old.  The picture of
Gracie with Buddy especially gets a lot of "Wow!"'s and thumbs-up comments,
thought you would enjoy!!

Sincerely,
Anne Keogh

Hi Carolyn,
I gaze longingly at your new litter of  min-Medium doods but alas I will have to wait.
We just celebrated Wilson's  "Adoption Day"  2nd anniversary.  He is such a joy and hopefully he has
stopped growing.  His last weigh in in Feb 2010 was 94 lbs.  He is a gentle giant but to our little grandkids,
he is a still a giant.  His favorites are riding in the car, playing, riding in the car, swimming, riding in the car,
long morning walks, riding in the car and eating.  He's sweet on a 2 yr old chocolate lab in the
neighborhood but luckily their can be no puppies for either.  We participate in Doodle Romps locally and
hope to attend yours in the fall.

Thank you again for your part in uniting us with this wonderful dog.
